chuk de, shahrukh and more....kudos!!!!!

Patriotism redefined...and in a new much more appealing, heart rendering avtaar....that's what chuk de came across to me...

who says the next generation does not have any patriotism left inside their nerves...the gush of adrenaline which is seen through and through in the auditorium proves the fact time and again that the emotion of patriotism still prevails as the undisputed king of all emotions universally...

The film is not about hockey...understood that it does have relevance as the national game of India...but it could be about carrom for all you know..the whole idea is about the feeling of team building....ego slashing...bonding...

Chuk de is what every indian needs to feel at this hour...feel proud of his or her being...feel firmly rooted to their roots..feel multiethnic yet one...

I request each and every one to kindly pay homage to our motherland and drown your emotions in a sea of patriotism called 'chuk de'........

Well the basic theme of Chak De (not chuk )is very good but the director has miserably failed to develop the central character played by SRK,a coach has to be much more to the players than just be arrogant & angry man all the time , he is never seen applying a soft human approach to win over the team players, the mentioning of team india by each player could have been brought out in much better ways & sensible dialougesthan just asking them to get out ( this gesture of getout became a default one on all occasions in the film including to the coach himself when he is boycotted by the players)a coach should be a GR8 motivator more than a player to bring out the best in the team, he is never seen flashing a 'wel-done'smile or any such gesture towards any player, simply self centered arrogance is the core of his character, players are won over when light moments are shared with them by seniors , that way they feel honoured, humble talk makes ppl listen with care, hard talk will always generate hard feelings, if a senior gives respect to a junoir the junior responds with 10fold returns.

It was very sad to see a coach telling his players to hitback with 2fold vengence, very unsportsman like advice , this is what our children will learn & imagine if they play with that mentality with their regular friends, no doubt the 8th standard children planned to shoot down their classmate , "hitting with double vengence"!!!!

Just becos the film ended with a Win it attracted cheers what would it hav portrayed if it showed a losing team .
I am sure Nana/Naseer/ Amir would have sensed the essence of the character in a better way.See Naseer in that Cricket theemed movie with Shreyas Talapade

The portrayal was unfortunately same in the ABs film Black , where he is shown as an agressive teacher( no difference in his acting that from major Shaab???)how can we expect a care taker / teacher dealing with a challanged child behaiving soo violently!!!
