love don't live here anymore.............

Does this really happen so fast and so unknowingly ...

That love just disappears from your heart which you always thought was full of love for a special person....

You always thought that the absence of this person form your life physically or spiritually was just going to make your life not worth living...that this feeling of love which was almost synonymous with your breathing and heartbeats could just disappear one 'fine' day and yet leave you unscratched...

With brief grief and a few tears that you shed you are ready to take on the world once again with new found energy which existed in you but you never felt the need to tap..

All these years the people you did not even look at as pillars of support do come up as a strong listening ear and help you to look at the greener pastures of life which were hidden from your eyes all these years as you could see only with a one track mind and one track heart...

Every problem is looked at as an opportunity and this heartbreak certainly comes through as a ray of light in the darkness which surrounded the relation and made it existent sheerly because it was 'almost' your lifestyle now...an everyday thing which one gets 'used' to....

With this feeling of freedom which lingers now as a breath of fresh air....the wounded bird now takes its flight with renewed vigour.......

To soar newer heights with a graceful flap of the wings....

chuk de, shahrukh and more....kudos!!!!!

Patriotism redefined...and in a new much more appealing, heart rendering avtaar....that's what chuk de came across to me...

who says the next generation does not have any patriotism left inside their nerves...the gush of adrenaline which is seen through and through in the auditorium proves the fact time and again that the emotion of patriotism still prevails as the undisputed king of all emotions universally...

The film is not about hockey...understood that it does have relevance as the national game of India...but it could be about carrom for all you know..the whole idea is about the feeling of team building....ego slashing...bonding...

Chuk de is what every indian needs to feel at this hour...feel proud of his or her being...feel firmly rooted to their roots..feel multiethnic yet one...

I request each and every one to kindly pay homage to our motherland and drown your emotions in a sea of patriotism called 'chuk de'........

POWER

It was one of those other routine days...I had gone to drop Anand to a bus pickup point in the city where he was one of the many passengers awaiting their carriage to arrive....the bus stop was full of all sorts of people...some with all the luggage in this world, some with babies crying away to glory, some already fed up about the journey, some treating the journey as a way to get close and my husband looking at the next 5 hours to reach another workplace!!!

In this frenzy of activities and noises, an autorickshaw halted at the bus stop and a young man started unloading his luggage from the rickshaw with the help of the driver. All of a sudden a boy of about 10 yrs of age with a small plate having a photo of some 'Deity' smeared with kumkum started asking for some 'dakshina' for the devi in the plate...The autorickshaw driver suddenly slapped the boy hard and pushed him away from the rickshaw....

This visual really struck me hard and before I could register what had happened the driver drove away in his vehicle.....

The boy walked away with a blank face as if this was routine...this was much more hard hitting....I had seen similar incidents on the platforms of mumbai local stations, signals and small eating joints...

Why do people exercise their power on persons who cannot retaliate...does this give them a sense of supremacy and power, would the driver have slapped the person asking for alms if he had been a young boy of 21 years and in a retaliating mode? this happened only because the small boy was not physically equipped to give it back to the driver...

These small people will grow up to be young men filled with only vengeance in their mind...and when the time is right they will retaliate in their own way and give it back to the society...they will know of no logic,no humanity and no socialistic well being..they will become sharp shooters, thieves, murderers and even terrorists since they can find solace only in negativity because of their upbringing....

Had the driver thought why the child was doing the act of begging...was it out of his own wish or was he forced to do it...he could have refused to give money and maybe tried to dissuade him from begging...he may not have listened immediately but at least would not have carried this negation along with him all his childhood...

Childhood is precious not only for the socially and financially well off but also the downtrodden...if we cannot do anything to uplift them at least let us not push them more and more into their hell ................

Opinions
Opinions are effects created by a certain action or emotion or activity....but as each action has an equal and opposite reaction...opinions also are supportive and reverse in their characteristics...

whether they are asked for or not expected ,opinions still emerge and evaporate into thin air if not put to vocal use...whenever one is asked to voice an opinion it is existent in the mind of the person voicing the opinion that his or her opinion will be held in the highest regard and that everyone listening to it will be 'for' the opinion generated...If that is the state, there is harmonious interaction...if that is not the case ...well ..be ready for a discussion(heated or otherwise)!!!

opinions expressed are a very strong base of any democracy as every vote cast is an opinion..opinions expressed are most important as far as creative liberty is concerned ...cause every work of art is an opinion of the creator..opinions expressed are a persons basic right...cause they are almost like reflex actions

what say?

SPACE...TRUE OR VIRTUAL

SPACE...TRUE OR VIRTUAL

The much talked about Gen-ex when exposed to a discussion on 'personal relationships management' become a bit uncomfortable and loose their much maintained equilibrium. The 'space ' which is expected out of every relationship does its vaccum creation and leaves these 'people of the future with nothing more than abscense of gravity and blackholes in their relationships.

Since when did this space become so important in our Indian ethos...does westernisation and globalisation mean diminishing of our deep rooted ideas of belonging?

why compromise? this question is asked time and again as regards everything and anything...

compromise because you love the person you are compromising for,
compromise because the relation means more than the self,
compromise because it will eventually bring you happiness for the deed you have done...
compromise because it means you have put someone's needs before your's...
compromise because you have chosen to rise above the self...

IS it not wonderful to have your mother wait for you to have dinner with...
is it not satisfying to have someone to hold your hand in times of trauma,
is it not bliss to see the first performance of your child on the stage and then shed a tear of happiness with your spouse..
what space are we talking about when a father worries about his 'about to deliver a child'daughter?

space can only leave a space which is 'empty' between people...
there is nothing wrong to expect good behaviour form your offspring
nothing wrong to expect loyalty from your partner
nothing wrong to expect care from parents
nothing wrong to care without the expectation and reward
nothing wrong to love and expect love in return too...

the 'space' required is mostly for 'private' activities which we are ashamed of sharing with the world...

some years ago we shared space of the soul with real people around us...
where are these people now...I see only astronauts around!!
